Yo soy la Locura: The Sweet Madness of Love
Songs of Love and Unreason from across Europe.
La Locura is an early music group known for its bold and unexpected pairings of ancient, baroque, and contemporary song and dance music, and their friendly performance style.
Founded in 2024 by soprano Ana Beard Fernández, who is also principal arranger and programmer for the group, La Locura is an ensemble made up of some of the most outstanding young musicians of a new generation of specialist performers.
They are: Ana Beard Fernández – director and soprano, Louise Anna Duggan – voice and percusión, Konstantinos Glynos – kanun, Iain MacLeod Hall – baroque cello and recorders, Matthew Jorysz – keyboards, Oliver Wass – triple harp.
Parking
Parking is available on the street around the village and in St Birinus car park
(on Bridge End, opposite the abbey). For the larger events, extra parking will be
available in the surrounding fields, as signposted.
